This increases the safety of the transaction on the one part, but leads to extra expenses on the other part. Even if the transaction is not approved by the authorities, the purchaser will have to pay for the services in any case. However the money for the real estate that was preliminary placed on a trust account at a bank, will be reimbursed in full. You should also remember, that any transactions with amounts of over 15,000 Euros are performed under control of the Bank of Austria, which checks the payer's identity.
